Jessica is based, somewhat, on a girl I knew in high school named Amy. Amy was beautiful, a cheerleader, but despite her public persona as a boy crazy airhead was really, really, smart. Amy and I always ended up doing group work together all through high school. We would get our work done really efficiently except this one time when her boyfriend tried to pound my skull in for the crime of, well, existing basically. She was so bright but played up the ditzy thing when her friends were around. What a waste.
She actually gave me her number at the end of high school but I was too busy going to punk gigs and screwing around during the summer of 1997 to even realize what was up. Whoops.
Jessica is based, appearance wise, on Amy to an extent. I like writing her and she is going to have a big part in the next chapter of A Few Short Stories About The Pleasure Bunnies (coming soon, it is mostly written but needs significant revision…). Later in the story we will also meet her sister and mother, who have been mentioned before in passing.
